Couldn't think of anything else to name this one, so, went with the straight forward approach...Boom!

Another practice with lighting effects. Did this in PS7 with a wacom tablet, using the lighten tool to do all the lighting effects you see there, a mix of midtones and highlights. The ridge forground was just a solid dark brown bit drawn out, and using the same technique, brought out the light bursting over from the blast.

Very nice, the lightning is perfect. Can't think of anything wrong with it accept that the mountain might look a bit flat.
