Fanart of Ramza from Final Fantasy Tactics.
I am so..SO so proud of this. It came together this morning in about an hour total. ^_^ I love this game, its by far my favorite of the entire final fantasy series. Such an amazing storyline..and its really overlooked.
So, a tribute to a fine game, a fantastic story, and a truely dynamic character. I give you Ramza Beoulve, past and future.
I wanted to bring out the bright, almost naive personality of him in the left side, and then his transition into a more dark hardened person in the right side. And, I know, he didn't have a cloak in that armor but..now he does. I thought it added to him well.
Anyway, enjoy, and please leave a comment ^_^ I really want to know what you think of this.
Of course, characters, and the banner is (c) Square-Enix (recent developement in the name change) and the FF Series itself.

Well it's gotta be hard on his mind to hold down the fact that he's been scolded, backstabbed, and branded a heretic to Ivalice, after the beginning. In the beginning, he was a bright student at the Akademy, lends a hand in the efforts of hunting down the Corpse Brigade, loses his best friend and basically suffers a mental collapse from the Ziekden incident. Then taking up the title of Sellsword [Mercenary] to later discover how corrupt the government is after witnessing Ovelia's capture, and the plans to use her as a medium to rule Ivalice, then fight the Templar Knights trying to rule Goltanna and Larg who want the reins over Ovelia's neck.
So I think this picture illustrates how he goes from thinking he knows where to go and what to do, then immediately doesn't.
